Match Report Press Report

Dolphin 2nd Lost to Southdown-Trekkers.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 5 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Alan Bloor, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 125 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Alan Bloor.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 4 string, John Shepherd, gaining 2445 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, , who over-turned a 1008 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
