Match Report Press Report

Southdown-Sloggers Lost to Durrington Squash Club in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 10 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, James Dawes, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 84 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Ron Wood.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Dom Bradshaw, gaining 2445 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Dom Bradshaw, who over-turned a 282 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
