Weald III (formerly Weald IV) Beat Crowborough III.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 5 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 75 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Trevor Morgan winning through.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 125 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Sarah Naish.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Stephen Joyce, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

With 3 strings going the distance, the match turned out to be a hard-fought battle.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Stephen Joyce, who over-turned a 346 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
