Match Report Press Report

Midhurst II Lost to The West Worthing Club IV.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 63 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Daniel Wotton, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 140 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Daniel Wotton.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Luke Wells, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

With 3 strings going the distance, the match turned out to be a hard-fought battle.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Luke Wells, who over-turned a 282 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
