Match Report Press Report

David Lloyd I Lost to Crawley Squash Club IV in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 5 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 90 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Mike Farrell winning through.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 102 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Mike Farrell.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Richard Martin, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, Charlie Gibson, who over-turned a 375 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
