Match Report Press Report

Crawley Squash Club III Lost to Dunnings S and RC II in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 4 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 19 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Matthew Hewitt winning through.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 128 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Jamie Greengrass.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 5 string, , gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, , who over-turned a 355 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.

If the Away No. 1 player, Neil Cooper, had not had to withdraw after 1 game(s) the result could have been closer.
